One of my all-time favorite dishes. This osso bucco made me high. The meat on the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone-tender and the saucy sauce (put through the blender) was so lamby-tomatoey-lemony delicious I could pour it in a glass and drink it. Ok maybe that would be kinda weird (but not really).
Served with a tangle of beet greens found at the local Sobeys. This is a great vegetable companion to just about any meal. Crunchy & colorful with just a hint of bitter.
